  • October 14 Tea Photos here!

  • On October 14, we welcomed the Miyazaki Calligraphers from Japan!

In our largest Tea to date, over 60 guests enjoyed Tea Ceremony in the renovated Tea Ceremony Rooms. Our hardworking volunteer Camellia staff numbered over 15 (including Tea Hosts, servers, kitchen, reception, and translators). Over the course of the day, we held 6 sittings of Tea at 2:00, 3:30 and 5:00 in the Winter and Summer Tearooms.

Before and or after Tea, guests enjoyed the incredible Calligraphic Art from the Miyazaki Group. These 15 calligraphers who travelled to Ottawa for only a single day generously treated Camellia Guests to a free calligraphy workshop.
